I have the Tab S4 (105 inch diagonal screen) and S7+ and while the refresh rate and latency are better on the S7+ the S4 is easily large enough to give me all I want for writing If you’re going to use the tablet like a laptop with a keyboard then of course the S7+ will offer more screen size.

I was initially skeptical with the S4 (LTE) but after using one for a few months built in DeX is the best thing about this tablet (though not perfect) I use it in DeX mode most of the time Note taking media and productivity is great as well.

Note taking is accurate on pages and pages of notes with both Samsung Notes and S Note I have the Staedtler’s Noris pen too but haven’t tried that as yet as that is packed up with my Tab S3 If you can’t get the S Pen to calibrate with the Tab S4 you may want to return or exchange your Tab S4 as it could be something defective with the tablet or the pen.
